Important Announcement:

District Director & Assistant District Director Nomination, Certification Process and Selection Process

Greetings Brothers,

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 upcoming District Conferences, please be advised of the selection, certification, and appointment procedures for the offices of District Director (DD) and Assistant District Director (ADD). These positions are not elected by the District; rather, the Regional Vice President and Regional Assistant Vice President appoints them. Districts participate by developing a Candidate Preference List, which informs the final appointments.

Nomination & Eligibility

Nominations for DD and ADD will take place during the District Conference, including nominations from the floor.
Candidates nominated from the floor must provide all required credentialing documents at the time of nomination.
A criminal background check, completed within the past six (6) months, is required.
Candidates must be financial members in good standing, reside in the district, and have chapter affiliation on record with the General Office.
All candidates must be certified by the Regional Elections Committee before campaigning.

District Voting & Submission

Following the nomination process, the District will conduct its internal selection process and submit the top three (3) candidates, ranked in order of preference, to the RVP and RAVP within ten (10) business days for appointment consideration.

All candidates for General Officer or appointed Regional Officer consideration must submit the following:

Official Application for Fraternity Officers (Schedule B)
Notarized Convention Attendance Certification Letter
Background Check Consent Form (Schedule C)
Arbitration Consent Form (Schedule D)
Campaign Compliance & Non‑Disparagement Acknowledgement (Schedule E)
Verification of required certifications (Risk Management, IMDP, et al.)
Academic enrollment verification (where applicable)
Biographical Data Form
Two professional 5×7 photos (one color, one B&W; JPG/TIFF; max 25 MB)
Application fee (Schedule R), covering background check and technical processing costs.

1. Know Your Application Window

General President, Comptroller, Treasurer: Oct 1–31
Regional Vice President: Aug 1–31
Regional Assistant Vice President: Aug 1–Sept 30
All materials must be postmarked or electronically received by the deadline.

2. Complete Your Required Documents

3. Submit Your Package

☐ Begin campaigning ONLY after receiving certification and on the approved start date
