Brother Theodore R. Young II proudly serves as the 65th Eastern Regional Assistant Vice President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., representing the brothers of the Eastern Region on the Fraternity’s Board of Directors. A dedicated servant leader, Brother Young is committed to strengthening undergraduate leadership, fostering chapter excellence, and creating sustainable pathways that cultivate the next generation of Alpha men.

Brother Young is a senior at Rowan University pursuing a double major in Political Science and Law & Justice. His passion for leadership and student advocacy has led him to serve in several impactful roles across the university, including Executive Vice President of the Rowan University Student Government Association and Program Coordinator within the Division of Student Access and Pathway Programs, where he advances initiatives supporting first-generation college students and student success.

Initiated into the Nu Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in Fall 2024, Brother Young has quickly established a record of transformative leadership. He has served as President of the Nu Iota Chapter and as the Assistant District Director for the New Jersey Association of Alpha Phi Alpha Chapters, where he developed statewide college brother initiatives focused on leadership development, engagement, and chapter collaboration. Under his leadership, Nu Iota earned multiple recognitions for excellence in scholarship, service, and campus leadership.

As Eastern Regional Assistant Vice President, Brother Young’s administration is centered on the belief that “If brothers know better, they will do better.” Through his leadership platform, “Cultivating Alpha Leaders, Securing Alpha’s Future,” he is focused on enhancing communication, developing intentional leadership pipelines, increasing undergraduate engagement, strengthening chapter support, and ensuring every college brother has the resources necessary to thrive both within the Fraternity and beyond.
