DESCRIPTION:CALL TO CONVENTION\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDear Brothers\, \nIn accordance with Article V\, Section 1.2 of the Constitution of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Inc.\, I do hereby issue the “Official Call” for the ‘Men of Distinction’ of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Inc. to convene for the 98th General Convention and 119th Anniversary Convention\, July 16-20\, 2025\, at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania. \nThe theme of our convention is “Reimagining Alpha for the Future\,” which ushers in a new era for Alpha. In prior administrations\, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Inc. has dedicated itself to much needed critical evaluation\, internal development\, and the strengthening of our foundation and Brotherhood.  \nAs a result\, we are now poised and prepared to be fearless in encouraging new\, bold\, and creative ideas embracing best practices that inform\, engage\, and mobilize our Brotherhood for our noble work along with technology that ensure our sustainability and competitiveness for the future.  \nFor this convention\, we will utilize our new Sphinx Hub Mobile App\, which now replaces Guidebook for maintaining the event schedule and updates as well as eliminates MailChimp for any newsletters and messaging. It also encapsulates Alpha MX\, Alpha University\, the former\, Alpha Elite. \nWe will focus on a specific group of Brothers with the purpose of raising their ALPHAIQ!  We have planned a more streamlined\, poignant\, and intentional experience for our General Business Sessions thanks to Official Pre-Convention Meetings and Workshops eliminating much of the time-consuming\, but necessary background\, discussion\, and mandated completion. \nWithin our leadership\, we welcome new General Board members and elect our next General Treasurer as well as celebrate those rolling off our General Board. \nThe 98th General Convention and 119th Anniversary Convention\, as always\, is not only about the work of Alpha\, but is also a celebration and a time for connection. Our convention and the city of Brotherly Love\, in general\, aims to offer a variety of Brotherhood and social experiences that hope to entertain as well as strengthen our bond while positively showcasing our presence and brand to the public. \nI look forward to joining you at our 98th General Convention and 119th Anniversary Convention\, where we can Shake Hands\, Exchange Greetings\, and Depart Friends. \nAlways Fraternal\, \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGeneral President \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWELCOME TO PHILLY!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPhiladelphia is where America began. SUMMARY:36th NYACOA District Convention
DESCRIPTION:Greetings Brothers of NYACOA\, \nIn accordance with Article IV\, section 5.5 of the New York Association of Chapters of Alpha constitution\, we are pleased to issue the official Convention Call for the 36th Anniversary NYACOA/District III Convention\, to be held on November 13-16\, 2025. This year’s convention will be held in Buffalo\, NY at Buffalo State University.  Our host chapters for the convention are the Rho Lambda\, Delta Epsilon\, and Phi Omicron. We could not be more excited about the Brothers of Buffalo hosting us this year. \nWe are pleased to share that this year\, the registration rate for College Brothers is again $100.00!   The registration rate for Alumni Brothers is $275.00.  Discounted rate information for chapters can be found in the convention call.    \nThis year’s theme is  “The Gateway to Greatness.”  \nAlpha\, as the first Black Greek-letter fraternity in the United States\, embodies the very spirit of Buffalo’s nickname\, “the Gateway to Greatness.” We know that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, Incorporated opens doors of opportunity not only for our members but also for the communities we serve. Much like a gateway\, the Fraternity provides a passage for our Brothers to develop their intellect\, character\, and capacity to lead—transforming ambition into action. \nThrough our various mentorship programs\, civic engagement\, and a steadfast commitment to social justice\, Alpha cultivates excellence and empowers individuals to rise above barriers\, creating pathways toward higher education\, professional success\, and meaningful community impact.
