DESCRIPTION:Brothers of AlphaEast\, \nIn accordance with Article III\, §2.3 of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity – Constitution\, the leadership of the Eastern Region is pleased to present this official Convention Call (http://convention.alphaeast.com/convention-call) for the 82nd Annual Eastern Region Convention of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, to be held April 24 – April 27\, 2014 in Baltimore\, Maryland. \nThere are countless activities occurring during this generation which implore action\, intervention and leadership from the men of the old gold and black. Our focus during this gathering will be “Reconciling Leadership & Brotherhood” and how the principles of these two tenets will be of assistance as we propel our organization forward. Specifically\, we will focus on providing experience and bonding to develop leaders\, empowering and energizing to promote Brotherhood\, training and mentoring to promote academic excellence and organizing and networking to provide service and advocacy to our communities. \nIt is apropos for this congregation of Eastern Region Brotherhood to be held in the “City of Neighborhoods” with the Hilton Baltimore serving as our host hotel.
